【ゆう子さん＆黒流さん編】　和楽器バンド「八奏絵巻」「暁ノ糸」の衣装をお作りしました。【Yuko＆Kurona】 I created WagakkiBand"Yasouemaki""Akatsuki no ito"costumes.

和楽器バンドさん、新ビジュアルの全員の衣装デザインをさせて頂きました！
新アルバム「八奏絵巻」、MV「暁ノ糸」両方で使われているビジュアルです。
今までゆう子さんのをずっとと、黒流さんのを2度、亜沙さんのを1度作ってきましたが、
今回初めて全員の衣装を手がけさせて頂きました！​

I was allowed to do all of the clothing design for WagakkiBand’s new look!
They are being used for Yasouemaki's new album and Akatsuki no ito's music video.
Up until now I've worked with Yuko for a long time, twice with Kurona and once with Asa, but this time for the first time ever I've been allowed to work on everyone's costumes!​

黒ベース、紫刺し色が全体のイメージだったので、
ゆう子さん以外全員に黒留袖＋同じ紫の布を使い、統一感とシャープさを出しました。
※個人に合わせた物を均一サイズの女性トルソーに着せて撮影しているので違和感あると思いますが悪しからず。。。​

The entire color image was a black base, with purple points, so apart from on Yuko, I used a black "Tomesode"kimono and the same purple cloth for everyone, to give them a sense of unity and sharpness.
What they were made to wear in the photo was made to fit the torso of an average sized woman, so I'm sorry they look a bit uncomfortable...​


まずはおなじみボーカルのゆう子さん
First is Yuko, the vocalist

彼女のは縫製まで丸々自分で作りました。
I made what she is wearing completely by myself, right down to the sewing.

ホルターネック＋着物という特殊な形をご提案！
特殊な形ですが和な感じを残すためにホルターの内側に打ち合わせの衿、
そしてホルターとリボンには刺繍半衿を使用しました。
首の後ろに立体的なリボンをつけるのはゆう子さんからのアイディアでした！​

Introducing this special form of halter neck kimono!
In order to keep the Japanese feel, in this special form the inside of the halter overlaps on the neck,
and for the halter and ribbon I used an embroidered kimono neckpiece.
I got the idea for using a 3D ribbon on the back of the neck from Yuko!​

元になったの未仕立ての振袖
The original unaltered long-sleeved kimono.

御所の風景のようです。良く見ると寝殿の中に箏が置いてありますね！
An old imperial palace scene. If you look closely you can see a Koto in the main building!

帯コルセットの後ろにはスワロフスキーを付けたこんなチャームを（今回は変化を求めて後ろがファスナー仕立て）
これはべにさんのチョーカーに付けたものと同じで、小さいバージョンをピアスとして差し上げました。
ちなみに帯締めは紫のシンプルなものと、左右で金銀になっている礼装用を２本重ねて結んでいます！

On the back of the Obi corset I attached these charms with swarovski crystals in them. (this time I wanted a change so used a zipper)
This is Beni's charm, which is the same as the other ones I used, and I gave Yuko some smaller versions to wear as earrings.
By the way, the sash holding the kimono in place is a plain purple band, with two ceremonial style gold and silver bands tied over.

続いて和太鼓・黒流さん編
Next is the Wadaiko/Kurona collection

縫製はお任せしましたがパターンまでは自分で引きました。
I left the sewing up to other sewer but everything else up to the pattern I did myself.

金色の箔が豪華な黒留袖を使用しました​
胸元には藤の文様、所々に合皮やスタッズを配し上品にハードな感じを出しました。

The gold color I used on this gorgeous "Tomesode" kimono is gold leaf​
The pattern on the breast is a wisteria design, and here and there I added studs and synthetic leather to create a tough feel to it.



黒流さんのお好きな立ち衿の裏に紋を。
背中心には七宝文様のキラっとした布がチラ見えな設計！

I added a crest on the back of the standing collar that Kurona likes.
The center of the back is designed so you can get a glance of the glittery fabric with a cloisonne pattern on!

黒流さんの後ろ中心、ゆう子さんの帯、町屋さんのスカート、大輔さんの衿
に使われている共通のこの布は、こちらの一本の帯を使いました！
四人分でぎりぎり・・・！​
The fabric I used for the center of Kurona's back, Yuko's Obi corset, Machita's skirt, and Daisuke's collar was all from this one obi!
There was only just enough for all four people...!​
